Stefanie Cardamone, MD is an Assistant Professor at Stony Brook Children's Hospital/Stony Brook Medicine in Long Island, NY. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU School of Medicine, followed by fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at University College London Hospital. She currently is the co-director of Stony Brook Children's Integrated Care and Fertiliy Preservation Program. She also is a member of the interdisciplinary Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Program, providing patient care to the AYA population along with colleagues in pediatric endocrinology, nutrition, weight management, and mental health.
Other clinical interests include cancer survivorship and implementation of ERAS in the pediatric surgical population. Dr. Cardamone also has interest in resident education, including simulation in medical education, and has previously served as Associate Residency Program Director and as co-director of simulation.
