My name is Olivia Kinsinger and I am a third year medical student at the Medical University of South Carolina. I attended Texas Christian University for my undergraduate degree and medical school brought me back to my hometown of Charleston, SC. Prior to medical school, I developed an interest in women’s health from my experiences learning from strong and inspiring women. I pursued this interest in medical school and have worked with women from a variety of ages and backgrounds through various endeavors and projects. From teaching elementary-aged females about how amazing their bodies are to working to connect uninsured women with resources to access birth control to promoting healthy lifestyles and wellness for women by teaching barre classes at my local studio, I have developed meaningful and lasting relationships with women. I plan to apply to OB/GYN residency in the fall and pursue my interest in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology in residency.
