Lonna P. Gordon, MD, PharmD, FAAP, FABOM, CCMS is the Chief of Adolescent Medicine at Nemours Children's Health, Florida and an Associate Professor in Pediatrics at University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Florida A&M University and her Doctor of Medicine from Morsani College of Medicine at University of South Florida. She completed her pediatrics residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and her fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital Adolescent Health Center. Dr Gordon joined Nemours Children’s Health, Florida in 2018 where in addition to being the Chief of Adolescent Medicine she is the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Graduate Medical Education. She is board certified in pediatrics, adolescent medicine, obesity medicine, and culinary medicine. Her professional interests include positive youth engagement, risk reduction, reproductive justice, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. She additionally enjoys educating learners of all levels on the impact of social determinants of health, and racism on health outcomes in youth.
