Amy Sass MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at University of Colorado. Dr. Sass completed her residency in pediatrics and fellowship in adolescent medicine at Children’s Hospital Boston. During fellowship, she also received a Master in Public Health in maternal and child health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Sass is leader in medical education at the University of Colorado School of Medicine along the professional continuum as an Associate Program Director for the Pediatrics Residency Program and as the medical director for Continuing Medical Education (CME) for Children’s Hospital Colorado. The CME program is the premiere source of medical education for pediatric health care providers in the Rocky Mountain region. Dr. Sass’ clinical interests include the care of adolescents and young adults with reproductive health and gynecologic problems, contraception, eating disorders, and caring for patients with complex medical and behavioral health problems. Dr. Sass is the adolescent medicine medical director of the Eating Disorders Program at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. Sass’ scholarship efforts are in the areas of adolescent gynecology and medical education. She has presented her research at national meetings including the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, Pediatric Academic Societies and the Association of Pediatric Program Directors. Dr. Sass is the 2021-2022 president of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She is also a member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine.
