Dr. Andrea Bonny is Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University School of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Dr. Bonny completed her medical education at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and did her residency and fellowship training at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Bonny has been conducting clinical research in adolescent populations for over 20 years. Her research focus has been on the reproductive health care of adolescents and young adults and more recently on adolescent substance abuse. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, and her work contributed to the U.S. Medical Eligibility Criteria categorization of depot medroxyprogesterone acetate in adolescent populations.
