Mary Romano, MD, MPH is an Associate Professor in the Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Health since 2007. Her clinical interests include adolescent gynecology, contraceptive management in medically complex patients, LARC use in adolescent/young adults, menstrual suppression in adolescents with physical/intellectual disabilities, menstrual disorders, and LGBTQI2 health. Dr Romano's other interests include medical education. She works with learners at all levels and has developed and directs a course for the Vanderbilt University medical students on Sexual Health and Medicine.
