Maggie Dwiggins, MD, MS is an Assistant Proferssor of ob/gyn at Washington University in St. Louis in the department of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She did her residency training at the University of Illinois and Fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gyencology at Medstar and Children's National in Washington, D.C. Her areas of interest includ fertility preservation and congenital anomalies of the reproductive tract. She is an active member of the Oncofertility Consortium and Co-Chairs the Research Committee of the Pediatric Initiative Network. She has also been involved in numerous legislation regarding fertility preservation coverage mandates in various states, and looks forward to a time when coverage can be universal.
