Veronica I. Alaniz, MD, MPH is an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center, completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus followed by a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at the University of Michigan. She joined the section of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Children’s Hospital Colorado in 2016 and is proud to be working in a department that prioritizes patient care, collaboration and medical education. Her clinical and research interests include congenital anomalies of the reproductive tract, differences of sex development, gynecology for patients with anorectal malformations, and gynecology for gender diverse patients.
