Elizabeth Varghese is a 4th year medical student from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University, and is currently a Medical Research Scholars Program Fellow at the NIH. I'm working in Dr. Veronica Gomez-Lobo's lab on possible compensatory mechanisms of follicle protection in the retained ovary after unilateral oophorectomy, as well as the combined effects of unilateral oophorectomy + cyclophosphamide on AMH and ovarian follicles, both using mouse models.
