Kate McCracken, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Section of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Division of Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan.
She received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2005 and then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at The Ohio State University. She went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, in addition to being certified for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Focused Practice.
Dr. McCracken is committed to providing gynecologic and reproductive healthcare for girls and young women. She is passionate about treatment of pelvic pain, contraceptive care, fertility preservation, and surgical pelvic reconstruction for girls and young women with anorectal and reproductive tract malformations.
She is an active member of the North American Society for Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG) – where she holds several leadership positions. She is the immediate past chair of the AAGL PAG Special Interest Group.
When not working, she enjoys spending time exploring with her husband and two children.
