Claire Connors (they/them), BScHon. MD R1 OBGYN at the University of Calgary, was born and raised in Calgary AB. After completing their Undergraduate Degree at Queen's Universty they moved to Vancouver BC to teach Sexual Health Education and coach a youth competitive climbing team. Claire's pursuit of medicine was inspired by their passion for health advocacy, particularly in the field of sexual and reproductive health. After completing their final year of medical school in Yellowknife NWT, Claire was motivated to continue supporting underserviced communities, particularly 2SLGBTQ+, Women, and BIPOC folks; which has led them to complete their residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology. In their spare time you can find Claire outside mountain biking, climbing, and backcountry skiing. When not adventuring in the mountains Claire enjoys curling up on the couch with their two cats and a good Science Fiction novel.
