Jennifer E. Dietrich MD, MSc is a Tenured Professor in the Department of OB/GYN and Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. She is the Fellowship Director and Division Director for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She has been the Chief of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Texas Children’s Hospital since 2007, and became Medical Staff President of Texas Children’s Hospital 1/2021 through 12/2021. She completed her undergraduate training with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology at Pacific Lutheran University. She obtained her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed residency in OB/GYN at Baylor College of Medicine and went on to complete her Fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and concurrently completed a Masters of Public Health and Clinical Investigation at the University of Louisville in 2006. She remained on faculty at the University of Louisville for 1 year and then she was recruited back to Baylor College of Medicine in 2007. She Co-Directs the Young Women’s Bleeding Disorder clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital and served on a number of committees for the Department of OBGYN, Department of Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. She is internationally known for her work on congenital anomalies of the reproductive tract, bleeding disorders, ovarian cysts and masses and ovarian torsion in children and adolescents. She has been a member NASPAG for nearly 2 decades and has been involved in many leadership roles: Education Committee, NASPAG Board, ABOG Focused Practice Committee, Fellowship Directors special interest group, NASPAG Ad Hoc Coding Committee, was a past NASPAG Annual Clinical and Scientific Program Meeting Chair and a NASPAG Past President, completing her term in 2018. Additionally, she currently served as the Associate Editor of Gynecology for the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology for 14 years until July 2020.
