Lauren Capra is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Michigan. She received a BS in Biology from the University of Chicago, and worked as a high-school science teacher prior to her medical school matriculation. Her time as an educator sparked her interest in adolescent healthcare and patient advocacy, and she hopes to continue this line of research as she begins her medical career.
