Kate McCracken, MD, FACOG is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSU). She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at The Ohio State University and a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (PAG) at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY. She provides subspecialty gynecologic and reproductive healthcare for girls and young women. A significant portion of her clinical time involves working collaboratively with pediatric colorectal surgery and pediatric urology to perform surgical pelvic reconstruction for girls and young women with anorectal and reproductive tract malformations. She is also passionate about contraceptive care, fertility preservation, and treatment of pelvic pain. She is an active member of the North American Society for Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG) – where she holds several leadership positions and is on the NASPAG Board of Directors. She is the Chair of the AAGL PAG Special Interest Group. When not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.
