Dr. Andrea Huneeus is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Universidad del Desarrollo of Santiago, Chile and is a faculty physician the Division of Adolescent Medicine of Clínica Alemana of Santiago. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and Fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Obstetrics and Gynecology at Universidad de Chile. She has a Master of Public Health degree on Maternal and Child Health of the University of California, Berkeley. She is a researcher, educator, clinician, and advocate for young women's reproductive health in Chile. She served in the NASPAG Board of Directors as International Liaison and currently is the President of SOGIA, the Chilean Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology In April 2021, she released the book #sexointeligente (intelligent sex) a handbook of sexual education for adolescents that is currently on its 3rd edition.
