Sofya Maslyanskaya MD is an attending in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She completed her pediatrics residency at New York University and her fellowship in adolescent medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. She is the clinical informatics physician lead for the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Maslyanskaya is board-certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She is a Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM) and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG).
Dr. Maslyanskaya’s clinical and research interests are focused on reproductive healthcare and long acting reversible contraceptive use in adolescents. Dr.Maslyanskaya is also involved in quality improvement projects utilizing the electronic health record to improve patient care and preserve adolescent confidentiality.
